We are seeking our first fulltime Finance and Accounting leader to grow with us.
OUR DIRECTOR OF FINANCE WILL
- Report directly into the CEO and manage all finance and accounting related tasks and other ad-hoc needs
- Manage accounting duties: month-end close, cash flows, AR, AP, bookkeeping, tax, and payroll
- Manage financial reporting and revenue recognition
- Handle external audit processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Provide budgeting, financial modeling, and forecasting as needed
- Create accounting operational process and procedures
WHAT YOU OFFER
- 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience
- Previous Big 4 public accounting experience
- Strong operational accounting skills
- Previous experience with manufacturing or product based technology start-ups
- Excellent financial modeling skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Supplier quality lead on a cutting-edge, premium connected device to ensure a high quality and reliable product
- Develop manufacturing inspection processes, equipment, tools, gauges and fixtures for electromechanical assemblies, mechanical components, mechanical assemblies, and raw material
- Lead cross-functional technical reviews (PD, ID, Manufacturing, Operations) to obtain consensus for proposed inspection methods and inspection equipment before builds
- Establish qualification processes for assembly fixtures, injection molding tools, stamping tools, as well as electromechanical assemblies such as batteries, antennas, displays
- Select critical components for inspection equipment to ensure optimal measurement performance and capability both on-site at vendors and at the contract manufacturer
- Provide on-site management of suppliers to manage manufacturing bring-up including inspection equipment, fixtures, and functional testing
